Our first tarantula sighting!

For everyone who knows how much I love spiders you will be quite impressed to know that I didn't even faint when we saw a tarantula walking across a driveway on our walk yesterday.  We spent yesterday and today at my parents for Memorial Day and we decided to go on a nice family walk last night.  Mr. Tarantula also had that idea, but luckily he did not bring his family.  I don't think I could handle seeing more than one at a time.  I wish I had had my camera with us on our walk for proof that we really saw one.  It was really kind of surreal that there are spiders that large.  For anyone who has been planning on coming to Texas, don't cancel your trip because of this.  Those kind of critters only live in the ritzy areas of town so you will not see those if you stay in Round Rock with Kyle and I :)

Fun with cousin Adelyn

Drew did not like to share with Adelyn

Blake was very sweet with Adelyn to compensate for his brother's behavior :)

Granny and Grandpa's visit/Birthday

What a fun week we got to have!  Granny and grandpa drove from Florida to Austin and made a pit stop here for a few days before heading on to Dallas and then Iowa for Jodi's wedding.  We had such a great time getting to spend some time with them.  Drew was a little shy at first, but he warmed up pretty quickly.
While out for breakfast for Mother's Day, Blake said "It looks like there is a candle on Drew's head!"

The boys loved the pool, especially the waterfall.

Drew was fascinated with GG's hearing aid.  He kept trying to pull it out.

Camping

Blake and Kyle went on their first father/son camp out last weekend.  I'm still not really sure what they did all weekend, but they came home filthy so I guess that means that had fun.
