Blake started kindergarten today. We made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and then we all dropped Blake off. He was really excited for Kindergarten and even asked as soon as he woke up this morning whether he could leave yet. Once we arrived to his hallway he got a little nervous, but he had a great day. Kyle and I are so excited for him and all the things he is going to learn this year.

Summer Vacation Part 4: John and Brooke's Wedding
| Blake and John at the rehearsal dinner. John gave Blake a super cool water gun and SKITTLES. YUM! (yes, I ate some) |
| Cousin Tom |
After one dance we headed out and drove to Williams, Iowa to spend the night. We traveled back through KC and Muskogee and finally arrived home sweet home. Rudy had lost weight while staying at our neighbors and looks great now! It was a very fun surprise.

Summer Vacation 2011: Part 3
At last we arrived in Waconia at my friend Alicia's house. One of the most relaxing places I've ever been! Their house has a huge yard and overlooks Lake Waconia. She's lucky I live so far away or I might move in with them :)
Alicia and I hit the County Fair our first night there to see a band that played 80s hits. We walked in to the show and after about two minutes we decided that maybe we should just listen to "Baby Got Back" outside the building. It was quite the crowd in there and really pretty hilarious. We had great time walking around and riding the Ferris wheel.
We also rode this ride....I don't recommend it for anyone over 25.
I think I want to get a Llama
We all enjoyed the boat ride.
We went back to the fair on Friday
This was the highlight of Drew's trip. It was slightly nerve racking for me to watch my 2 year old unattended on a horse, but he did great and held on the whole time.
Alicia and I right before we left for the wedding.
Summer Vacation 2011: Part 2
So we left Kansas City on Wednesday and arrived in Des Moines for a quick overnight stay at my grandparent's house. My family is wonderful though and everyone from my mom's side who lives in Des Moines stopped by to see us. I even got to visit with my good friend Jenny for about 15 minutes when she stopped by. It was a very short visit, but it was great to see so many people.
Buddies Pampa and Drew off to see the horses. Blake asked if they were going to see the goats. I guess he is no longer a Midwestern boy. We don't see too many horses here in Austin.
Blake is getting ready to take down my cousin Brian using one of his kung fu moves.
Brian's daughter Anna and Blake had a blast hanging out together.
Yum, Iowa sweet corn. It's the best! I took this picture because I think this might be the first time I've seen my grandpa help prepare food and I wanted proof :)
Drew has no idea how to eat this.
Drew loves Megan!

You've gotta love Iowa rest stops!

Summer Vacation 2011
This is going to have to be multiple posts because I can't even begin to organize it all in one. We just got back from a 10 day trip up north. We left on a Friday night after work and stayed at our favorite Hampton Inn in Muskogee, OK and then headed further north to KC where we hung out with Kyle's side of the family. It was wonderful to get to see everyone and hang out with two of my nieces for a few days. I got to see my friend Kristi and meet her little girl and Kyle got to see his friend Nathan and his wife and kids. We took the kids to Crown Center, played and ate at Fritz's restaurant which has a train deliver food to each table. How cool is that? Drew loved it!
Goofiness with cousin Kim, aunt Natalie and Adelyn
Yum candy!
The whole Fieleke clan at the pool (minus mom who is taking the picture and Matt who was working)
The boys outside the Hampton Inn ready to begin the final 6 hours to KC.
The boys loved wrestling with their uncles. We missed Uncle Matt though.
Blake found a new favorite game...bean bag toss
Hhhmmm...this scene seems vaguely familiar to me except I remember there being a crib involved and my cousin Aaron. This time it was Drew and his cousin Adelyn fighting over the doll. The doll eventually lost her diaper, but thankfully all limbs are intact.
Drew loves his great grandma!
Blake reading for uncle Tim and great grandma.
Adelyn and Drew quickly got over their doll fight and were best buds again.

I think the scary dinosaur was attacking great grandpa
Melt my heart!
I was able to make a quick side trip to Columbia to meet up with Kristi and Peyton. What a cutie!
All the cousins at Kaleidoscope at Crown Center.
Cousin Ruth loves life!
