The Austin Sympthony put on a Spooktacular Halloween Concert. They played music from the Smurfs, ET, and Peter and the Wolf. It was cute. The boys probably would have enjoyed it more if they handed out candy. Blake made the observation that the ET song sounded like the Star Wars song. Kyle explained that it was because they were both written by the same person. I think Blake has a good ear for music, just like his dad.
Texas Book Festival
Saturday we headed downtown and met my parents at the book festival. Blake loved stopping at every booth and getting candy. They also got a few free books. It was a gorgeous day and the Capitol grounds were really pretty.

This monument is dedicated to Texas school children. We thought La La would like this.
Best part of Blake day! He got to meet a "Real" Storm Trooper. I'm sure that other guy is a star wars character too, but I don't know who he is.
