Thanksgiving/Angstrom Christmas

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving with my parents, my granny and grandpa Angstrom and my sister and her family.  The time went way too fast!  The kids had so much fun playing together.
Here are just a few of the 300 pictures I took over the long weekend.  These aren't necessarily the best of the 300, but give a good representation of what we did.  As usual, these are not in any particular order so Christmas is first even though we really did celebrate Thanksgiving first.

Granny and GG with the three kids.  It was so special to get to have them celebrate Thanksgiving with us.

Generations of Christmas cookie decorators.

Drew ate his cookie before he could even decorate it.

I think Olivia enjoyed cookie decorating and eating.

Blake has gotten very good at cookie decorating.

Pampa is so excited that Blake can finally play Foosball with him.

Football in the park

They climbed to the highest mountain top (or rock in the park, although it was pretty tall).

Granny and Olivia snoozing.  So sweet!

Blake is teaching Olivia how to be a superhero.
The goats.....this is Drew's favorite part of Mimi and Pampa's neighborhood.

This picture just makes me smile.  I love it!

Rudy says, "Please help me."  Actually, Drew LOVES Rudy and is very gentle with him.  Olivia has always loved Rudy too, but this time she was a little intimidated by him so she didn't get too close, yet she was also very intrigued by him.
Yum!  Kyle worked so hard smoking this Turkey for us.  It was delicious!
Drew was spinning around in the swing.  This was before he fell off of it:)
Fun times with Mimi and Pampa

Drew was going to teach Olivia how to walk on the wall.  Don't worry Pat, I held her hand when it was her turn.

Weekend Fun in Austin

The Austin Sympthony put on a Spooktacular Halloween Concert.  They played music from the Smurfs, ET, and Peter and the Wolf.  It was cute.  The boys probably would have enjoyed it more if they handed out candy.  Blake made the observation that the ET song sounded like the Star Wars song.  Kyle explained that it was because they were both written by the same person.  I think Blake has a good ear for music, just like his dad.

Texas Book Festival
Saturday we headed downtown and met my parents at the book festival.  Blake loved stopping at every booth and getting candy.  They also got a few free books.  It was a gorgeous day and the Capitol grounds were really pretty.

This monument is dedicated to Texas school children.  We thought La La would like this.

Best part of Blake day!  He got to meet a "Real" Storm Trooper.  I'm sure that other guy is a star wars character too, but I don't know who he is.

Drew loved seeing the horse.

Blake's Birthday Celebration

It is hard to believe that Blake turned 6 on Monday!  He had a really fun birthday celebration with his friends on Sunday at a bounce house.  We invited 14 of his closeset friends and judging from the amount of sweat dripping down their faces, I think they all had a great time.  He also got to spend his birthday with La La.  She flew in to town on Thursday.
