Praise God for the risen Savior! Easter was a wonderful celebration! The day started out a little chilly and rainy but quickly turned in to a beautiful, warm and sunny day. My parents came over for lunch and I managed not to burn anything. I substituted shoestring fries for hashbrowns in the casserole since HEB's hashbrown section had been raided, but it still turned out pretty yummy. Drew managed to ruin his Easter outfit (no information is probably needed on how that happened). Blake kept his clean until he decided to dig a car out of the dirt in our backyard. Boys will be boys :) At night we took a Fieleke family walk and played a little tennis. Blake is learning how to be a ball boy. Eventually he'll learn tennis too. Blake and Kyle watched the Sound of Music for the first time last night (yes, despite the fact that Kyle sang in the church that Maria and Capt. Von Trap got married in, he has never seen the movie). During the Favorite Things song Kyle asked Blake what his favorite things were. Here is his list; singing, eating colored goldfish, watching movies and jumping.
